Baby Yoda madness has enthralled us all and apparently Delta Airlines too who recently announced that Delta’s in-flight entertainment system will now include Disney Plus.

We are little nutty about Baby Yoda here at the CBoardingGroup. So nutty we have an entire page dedicated to Baby Yoda memes about travel. Check them all out

Delta Airlines and Disney Plus – a match made in heaven

According to the announcement Delta Airlines and Disney Plus have entered into an partnership bringing Disney Plus to passengers on Delta Flights. This exclusive partnership gives passengers access to Disney Plus for free while traveling on one of the 700 planes Delta has installed a seat-back entertainment system into.

What this really means is that Delta passengers can now have access to Baby Yoda at 30,000 feet in the air! Color me jealous over here on my United flight.

Unless you’ve been living in a cave for the last few weeks Disney’s Mandalorian show which featured a complete surprise reveal of “Baby Yoda” has been a tremendous success for Disney.

Ekrem Dimbiloglu is quoted as saying: “We know how much our customers value entertainment on board. That’s why we have installed seat-back screens in over 700 aircraft and continue to forge partnerships with entertainment giants like The Walt Disney Company to bring more diversity and variety to the entertainment options we offer in flight.”

Moreover, passengers flying on Delta receive a special offer to sign up for a 14-day free trial of the new Disney Plus service. Worth noting that you will need to be a Delta Skymiles member to take advantage of this offer.

Pretty smart on Delta’s part to not only enter this partnership but make it exclusive. The question is how long will this partnership stay exclusive until some of the other airlines get in on the Baby Yoda madness.
