Sadly, it seems like each day there is yet another in-flight blowup or airport fiasco related to the political climate. Today, there were several, including this incident shared on Twitter by Emir Sfaxi, a DC based podcaster where a maskless woman ranted about tyranny. She was arrested.

Earlier this evening we covered a few other separate tantrums where passengers were not allowed to fly, then proceeded to meltdown (you can read about those here).

This incident appears to have occurred on an American Air flight out Washington DC heading to Charlotte. The passenger, a woman, is standing in the aisle, mask down, and yelling about tyranny. According to @EmirSX, the fella who recorded the incident, the lady was refusing to wear her mask.

She was approached by what appears to likely have been an Air Marshal, or at least an officer of some sort in plain clothes. Upon arrival, she is met by police, arrested, and removed from the plane to the cheers of fellow passengers.

Here’s the two videos that were tweeted:

What the heck is going on in this country right now?

There is a serious issue (mental/psychological/whatever) with those people who refuse to wear a mask and claim their freedom being infringed upon. Based on countless evidence that it helps slow the spread of coronavirus, and the simple fact that airlines have rules for how you must behave (like no smoking on a flight, no children in exit rows, etc.), those that continue to argue against it have virtually no basis to claim their ability/freedom to fly if they choose not to comply.

These people are just inconveniencing others at best, and possibly spreading coronavirus and endangering other people’s health at worst.
