If you didn’t watch the Golden Globes or have been in an Internet coma for the last few weeks, here’s the backstory. Comedian Ricky Gervais hosted the Golden Globes this year. In his opening monologue, this left leaning comedian unloaded on his fellow Hollywood actors suggesting they should steer clear of politics that night and simply thank their agent and spouse and get the hell off the stage.
Political affiliations aside, it was a moment that many, dare I say most, normal Americans cheered (on both sides)! To catch you up, here’s the now infamous video:
