Travel Tip Tuesday #24: Bring Wet Wipes to de-grossify your seat area

Bring Wet Wipes With you - Travel Tip Tuesday

Today’s Travel Tip Tuesday is somewhere in between an airplane travel hack/tip and a healthy travel tip! Category notwithstanding, it’s an important tip to employ when flying: bring some wet wipes with you to keep the gross areas clean.

It’s all about air travel this month! For the month of July we are bringing you air travel and airplane related travel tips and hacks. Be sure to tune back in each Tuesday for the next tip. And, you can read all of the preceding Travel Tip Tuesday’s here.

Travel Tip Tuesday Tip #24 – Bring some wet wipes and avoid Pink Eye! (an Air Travel Tip for July)

I am sure the airlines eventually wipe down and clean the tray tables, but let’s be honest here…it ain’t that often. In fact, the tray table is one of the dirtiest and germiest places on  a plane.

And surprisingly (and shockingly) fecal matter is a common finding whenever tray tables are tested for grossness levels. That’s a hard pass for me!

Never fear, though, by simply bringing some wet wipes with you – travel size of course – you can easily wipe down your tray table allowing you travel just a little more germ free. Heck, you can even wipe down the armrests, the seat itself, even the window latch. Your neighbor perhaps???? LOL…

There’s a few options to consider in the travel wet wipe category. Here’s a few, but whatever your choice…BRING THEM. USE THEM. SKIP THE FLU. SKIP PINK EYE.
