A bizarre story has emerged from Chicago’s busy Midway International Airport (MDW). The US Customs & Border Protection Agency seized six human skulls recently that have been shipped off to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention for analysis.

A total of six human skulls were recently seized at Midway International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the world after an agricultural canine unit alerted to their presence. After further inspection, the packages – 3 in total, were determined to contain 2 human skulls each.

The packages originated in the Netherlands and were destined for an address in Iowa. The skulls were ultimately shipped off to the United States Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) for further analysis.

According to a local news station, the Chicago area Midway International Airport has seen a recent increase in unusual and even prohibited items, and the phenomenon isn’t limited to MDW.

The Transportation & Security Administration, or TSA, recently reported a startling increase in failed attempts to bring firearms through airport security checkpoints, often simply forgotten to be in the possession of the passenger, and recently the team working at the Boston Logan International Airport shared images of a 1-foot dagger hidden inside of a cane.

Even former TSA agents are getting into the mix, with one former agent getting caught in a meth smuggling scheme in Los Angeles, according to one report.

Human skulls can be legal. I heard that some medical students are loaned a box of bones for studying.
