Gross: the back of a woman’s head “explodes” mid-flight!

A new viral video is sweeping the internet where a woman, fresh off surgery, shares her disgusting experience when her wounds explode open mid-flight.

A popular TikToker shared a brief clip of her recent travel experience that has instantly gone viral. The woman, who goes by the TikTok handle @Polish_99, apparently had just had surgery to lift her neck as well as a procedure known as a “fox eye” procedure. She’d been cleared by two doctors to travel, despite still being stitched up, fresh off the operating table.

Mid-flight she awoke to terrible pain behind her ear and got up to use the lavatory. While in the lavatory she heard an audible pop and then felt bloody good running down the back of her head and neck.

Her wound had “exploded” due to the air pressure.

In a series of other videos that she posted she further explains the situation including describing her situation to a flight attendant who offered a compress to her to keep pressure on the wound until they landed.

According to Yahoo.com, she ended up with an infection in the wound which has cleared up. Of course, ever the influencer, the woman shared her videos to TikTok while singing along to a catchy tune in full bandages.

We are all thoroughly grossed out and can only imagine how the flight attendant who helped her deal with the oozing wound must have felt. GROSS!

For the curious reader, the “fox eye” surgery is an eye-lifting procedure designed to “fix” drooping eyes by lifting the corner of the eye with the goal of turning it into more of an almond shape. It’s sometimes referred to as the “almond eye” procedure or even the “cat eye” procedure.
