A wild fight scene broke out at the Philadelphia International Airport after a woman who may have taunted a group of women was attacked by those same women. As the crowd wailed on her a man that is presumably her boyfriend lays on top of her in an attempt to protect her from the kicks and punches.
Although we don’t have all of the details here, an altercation was witnessed at the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) that shows a woman and her male partner – presumed to be her boyfriend engaged in a verbal altercation that later turns violent.
The video begins with a woman appearing to taunt a group of African-American women as they walk in different directions near an airport people mover. The caucasian woman slaps her rear end before storming off.
The video picks up again near the baggage claim of the airport where the group of African-American women appears to be attacking someone who is laying on the moving baggage claim carousel. The crowd parts for a minute and we see it is the aforementioned man laying on top of the caucasian woman as they both get pummeled. He appears to be attempting to protect her from the violent attack. At one point a woman clambers onto the moving carousel and appears to kick the other woman in the head.
Cut to another scene that shows the same angry mob again violently attacking the woman who is now laying on the ground with her boyfriend attempting to protect her by again laying on top of her.

However, a later posting of the full video appears to show both the caucasian male and female instigating the attack. The video, posted below, shows the man appearing to call the woman the “b-word” before possibly making a comment about her hair. The African-American woman takes umbrage with this statement and walks closer to the man who is standing near his partner who appears to strike, perhaps slap, the woman in the face and the melee ensues.

The fight appears to end on its own with no appearance by airport police. The incident, which occurred in 2020, is but one example of travelers behaving badly over the course of the last few years – an unfortunate trend that gained steam during the pandemic era.
