We caution our readers – the video below shows the aftermath from the recent Hawaiian Airlines incident where over 30 passengers and crew were injured after the plane encountered severe turbulence mid-flight.
As reported by One Mile At a Time, an Airbus A330 ran into turbulence approximately 30 minutes from landing as the flight made its descent into the Honolulu Airport after leaving Phoenix earlier in the day. The plane encountered an air pocket and dropped suddenly causing several people to fly out of their seats and hit the ceiling – causing a mass casualty incident.

In all, 36 people were injured, many quite seriously. According to One Mile At a Time, 3 were flight attendants, 11 were injured seriously, and over 20 were taken to emergency rooms.
