New video and pictures are emerging from the United Airlines 328 flight mishap that saw engine parts raining down on a Denver area town. These new images from Ring cameras and dashcams and other witnesses highlight how scary the situation really was.
The widely covered United Airlines flight mishap yesterday captured the attention of many with the vivid and frightening videos of an enflamed engine and large chunks of airplane debris landing in people’s yards and parks in the town of Broomfield, Colorado.
Many readers will have already seen the below video which made the rounds across the Internet and news organizations. But there are more, perhaps not as widely seen yet.
Many videos and images of the event were quickly shared through social media and reported on by major and minor news outlets (and many fellow BoardingArea.com bloggers). However, additional images and videos have started to emerge which haven’t been shared quite as wide yet and they help add some context to the incident while continuing to highlight how scary this situation was for both passengers and folks on the ground.

A scary situation for sure, but it’s impressive how calm and professional the pilots were throughout the process. It reminds us of the time our Southwest flight lost an engine on takeoff out of Midway and we were forced to land at O’Hare. Scary situation – but ultimately a similar outcome.
