Protect your CDC Vaccination Card with this handy plastic sleeve designed for travelers. Like you, we are eager to start traveling with more regularity. As vaccine adoption increases there are glimmers of hope on the horizon for the return of travel. Early indicators suggest that vaccination may be a precursor for some international travel destinations.
Indeed, while the topic of COVID-19 vaccine passports rages on, having a vaccine and being able to present proof of said vaccine (if you’ve chosen to get it) is likely going to be a good thing.
For readers unfamiliar, the COVID-19 vaccine card is thin 3″ by 4″ cardstock-material card. Protecting it during the travails of travel is probably going to be a good idea. To that end, protecting that card is a smart idea.
Enter the CDC Vaccination Card Protector (pictured below) which provides an easy way to safeguard your card while still allowing you to remove it if needed.

While some travelers are choosing to laminate their card, doing so may not be entirely wise. Instead, having a couple of photo-colored copies of the card and placing the original in a removable sleeve like the one we recently bought might be the simplest approach.
These sleeves are readily available on Amazon and other retailers and can be purchased in a variety of quantities including enough for your entire family (or neighborhood).
This model allows the card to be hooked to a lanyard if the wearer so chooses, or, as we plan to do, store with my passport inside of my favorite travel bag. Our card protector just arrived and big surprise (sarcasm) it’s as advertised. After all, it’s just a piece of Ziploc plastic. 🙂
Best of luck to you as the pandemic starts to wind down and hopefully you’ve already got a few trips booked. We certainly do!
