Standup comedian Rachel Feinstein took to social media to roast Delta Airlines after they apparently lost her firefighter husband’s luggage on a recent journey. The bags, which apparently have been lost for 2 weeks, contained key gear her husband needs to do his job. The video is a bit funny, but has it yielded any results yet?
A formal contestant on Last Comic Standing’s Season 7, Rachel Feinstein is a funny person and so it makes perfect sense that she’d resort to humor in a valiant attempt to get Delta Airlines a bit more engaged in finding her and her husband’s luggage.
According to her social media post which was shared on Twitter, she and her husband made the critical mistake of checking a bag (you never check a bag, right!?) and of course, their luggage was subsequently lost.
As is often the case with lost luggage it has turned into a bit of a saga with the whole ordeal lasting for two weeks so far. Brutal. But we’ve been there (see the previous rule on not checking a bag…lol). With no clothes to wear she’s been “forced” to wear her husband’s bunker gear thereby singlehandedly weakening the entirety of the FDNY. <tongue firmly in cheek>
Here’s her post, and at least she’s approaching this with humor!
Delta Airlines, to their credit, did respond to the post with a vanilla ask to take things into DM land. No word on resolution yet, but let’s hope it works out to their benefit.
In case readers are curious, here is a “best of” video of Rachel’s work. She’s quite funny.
