A traveler on an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Frankfurt found some creepy crawlies in his salad after spending $10,000 on the seat. The response from the airline shocked him as the flight crew seemed bemused at the whole thing, offering him a replacement salad for his trouble.
According to a TMZ News report, a man traveling in a pricey first class seat on an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Frankfurt, Germany, was served a salad replete with bugs.
According to the TMZ report, the man had booked a last-minute flight to Germany and spent around $10,000 for the comfy first class seat (which was actually a business class seat). Reportedly, the man was served his meal which included an individually wrapped salad which had bugs crawling around underneath the plastic.
After discussing the situation with the American Airlines flight crew, the man indicated he was less-than-pleased with their response, noting that they seemed to laugh the incident off.
