The sun-drenched island of Aruba wants your dog to come visit them. You are welcome too, but they really just want your dog. In honor of National Dog Week, Aruba’s latest travel promotion is called “Have Dog Will Travel” and they are rolling out the red carpet for you and your pupper in this special promotion.
The “Have Dog, Will Travel” campaign launched this week and wants you and your doggo to experience what they call the “Aruba Effect.” To help entice dog owners to make the trip they’ve partnered with two companies to help get you in the air (or if you prefer, to help ease the drama of leaving them behind).
From September 20 through October 22, dog owners can take advantage of several dog-friendly benefits or experiences on the island. From dog-friendly hotels, to first-class flight arrangments for Spot, to canine-friendly experiences, your pet-vacation (well, just dogs) could be the escape you and Lassie need.
Aruba has partnered with Wag! and Avvinue to help bring this promotion to you and even offer assistance for those who want to leave Chippy behind (why, though? Who are you even if you do that!?). Put them up, using Wag!, at a fancy dog hotel and then head to the beach.
Customers who book their dog-friendly vacations through Avvinue, a pet-friendly travel company, should enter the promo code “ARUBA” at checkout to receive $25 off an upcoming flight for themselves and their canine companion.
