NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his family have been involved in a plane crash near Bristol, Tennessee from which Dale, his family (and two pilots) apparently walked way from with only minor injuries. This crash was confirmed by Kelley Earnhardt in the following tweet.

Various reports have started to roll in regarding the incident with some outlets like MSN noting that “The Cessna Citation rolled off the end of a runway after landing at Elizabethton Municipal Airport in Elizabethton.”

This tweet showed a fully engulfed plane (apparently Dale’s Cessna):

As noted, it sounds like everyone got out ok and that’s the best news yet. Stay tuned for more information as this story unfolds.
