An Indian family was busted attempting to smuggle out more than just the hotel shampoos. The incident was caught on video and shows the family’s luggage loaded with entire wall-mounted soaps, hangars, hair dryer and more.

While details are scant on the timing of this event, an interesting video is making the rounds on various social media platforms including Reddit. In the 3-minute-long clip, an Indian family is being confronted by hotel staff who have apparently busted the family’s attempts to steal a grip of hotel amenities.

In the video we see the hotel manager hold up an entire wall-mounted bottle of soap or shampoo – you know – the kind of multi-use shampoos that many hotels now use in place of single-use bottles.

In the open suitcase, it appears that every single wooden hangar from the hotel was taken, as well as the hair dryer, perhaps a pot of some sort or candle and other amenities from the room. A dispute ensues with threats to call the police and offers from the man to pay for the items.

We’ve all probably taken some soap before, or maybe accidentally taken a towel or hangar, but to gut the room? Too much.

For our part, we are curious about what clued the hotel staff into the fact the robbery was going down. Was the cleaner in the room so quickly that the family hadn’t left the parking lot yet? Or did they accidentally drop a suitcase in the lobby and it spilled open revealing a crushed-up hotel pillow?

Fyi.. This incident happened a couple of years ago. Shocking nonetheless.
