A wild scene unfolded at a Florida airport when an intoxicated woman riding a motorized suitcase led police on a chase through the terminal. She was eventually apprehended, arrested and managed to later defecate in the back of the police car.

How’s the expression go? Only in Florida? I think that’s it.

A wild scene played out on the zaniest stage of all, a Florida airport, where a highly intoxicated woman was turned back by police as she rode her motorized suitcase to the gate. Instead of complying, she hit the throttle and led a bemused officer on a chase through the terminal. The officer rode his police-issued bike during the chase and at one point dryly observed that she was pretty fast, but that he thought he could probably catch her.

The glassy-eyed woman traipses through the airport as the officer narrates the incident to his bodycam, maintaining a mostly amused tone throughout. He even appears to try to avoid arresting her – simply trying to get her to a non-secure portion of the airport. At one point, he even offers to race her out of the secure portion of the airport, in an attempt to peacefully diffuse the situation.

But, a point is reached, where the situation changes and he finally is forced to arrest her disorderly conduct after she refuses to comply and spits at the officer.

According to one report, she later destroyed a portion of the police car and defecated in the back seat.

Most of the incident was caught on video and we’ve shared it with our readers, below:

She behaved very badly but in a way I feel sorry for her. There is no mercy in the constant surveillance world we live in now.
