A man was stabbed to death last Friday in the parking lot of a Courtyard by Marriott Hotel near Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport leaving a trail of blood after being stabbed in the groin and chest. The man appears to have been staying at the hotel with a friend.
According to ABC 13 Eyewitness News a man was stabbed to death in the parking lot of a Courtyard by Marriott Hotel near the George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
The incident occurred in the 1 AM hour last Friday night and the victim who appears to be in his 30s was stabbed at least twice, once in the groin and once in the chest. Leaving a trail of blood behind him the unnamed male victim appears to have walked (or been helped) around to the front of the hotel looking for help after suffering grievous wounds.
Although there were no apparent witnesses to the stabbing, bystanders did say they heard a commotion and noticed a man lying on the ground. After calling 9-1-1 the man was transported to a local area hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his wounds.
Before dying, the man asked someone to call his mother.
Local police noted that the man was with a friend at the hotel who is not being cooperative and while currently not considered a suspect, is being questioned for more information about the event.
The victim’s name has not been released and there is no apparent motive for the crime at this time.
