A man traveling on a Delta Airlines flight was unable to travel after being removed from the flight for an alleged violation of Delta’s clothing and apparently policy. The bewildered man appears to get conflicting signals from the flight crew involved and the Delta help desk.
Recently, a male passenger traveling on a Delta Airlines flight was kicked off for wearing a sweatshirt emblazoned with the now infamous F*** Joe Biden slogan. The man, who captured much of the incident on film and shared it on TikTok, had taken the sweatshirt off but was still forced to deplane and threatened with a lifetime ban on Delta.
Interestingly, the man later communicated with a Delta Airlines representative via the Delta mobile app and shared the exchange online. Unsurprisingly, there was some confusion regarding the official policy. Despite the inconsistent response from the help desk agent, most airlines, Delta included, have a contract of carriage policies that accommodate passenger removal for offensive clothing.
In this case, unlike the oblique reference to the president in the related slogan, “Let’s Go Brandon” this sweatshirt literally said <expletive> Joe Biden, making a much stronger case for removal of the passenger under the offensive clothing policy.
