When you are done, you’re done and one Ryanair flight attendant was done. On a recent flight, the flight attendant is heard on video ranting against the airline and suggesting passengers directly contact them because they obviously care about your more than them (referring to the cabin crew).
It’s tough being a flight attendant, especially the last few years and one Ryanair flight attendant is kind of done, it would seem. On a recent flight from Spain to the United Kingdom, he is heard telling passengers where they can direct their complaints and letting them know the airline probably cares about them (the passengers) more than the flight crew…because you “give them money” and “instead we are costing them money.”
The flight attendant sarcastically remarks, “They don’t listen to their staff” and notes that after four years he “literally hasn’t got any expectations.”
Watch the video here:
Ryanair, like many airlines around the world, is suffering from severe staff shortages from airlines woefully unprepared for the deluge of travelers now free from pandemic lockdowns. Long lines, pilot shortages, and angry passengers come on the end of a rough few years for cabin and flight crew who suffered abusive passengers, risk of catching COVID, and loss of their job.
You kind of have to feel for the guy at this point.
