A former NFL player who saw time with the Patriots and Bills was hit by a bus earlier this week while at the airport. His condition is unknown, but the player managed to get a tweet out showing him on a stretcher after the incident.
Former NFL linebacker Brandon Spikes tweeted a harrowing photo of him strapped to a gurney receiving medical attention after being hit by an airport bus. The caption read, “Just got hit by a freaking airport bus y’all pray for ya boi.”
How many of us can literally say we’ve been hit by a bus? Not many. But, Brandon Spikes who saw time with the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots as well as two BCS championship teams while in college, can say exactly that.
The troubled linebacker who reportedly involved in a hit-and-run incident of his own many years back when authorities found his abandoned car which had hit a deer, or a car – the incident was never resolved.
Ultimately the incident lead to his being cut from the Patriots.
No word is known about his current condition, but if the image is any indication, it looks serious. The former NLF player, and former Florida Gator had recently tweeted pictures and images of him flying private from what appears to be a New England area airport.
