Another travel day, another episode of passengers behaving badly. Like has become an all too frequent occurrence these days, several Atlanta travelers scuffled on Tuesday of this week. The episode was caught on camera and posted to Instagram by boogalouatl.
In the video, below, several passengers who appear to be in the ticket area (prior to security screening) are engaged in a verbal altercation which quickly turns violent. Almost immediately a uniformed police officer engages his Taser dropping several people quickly.

According to Secret Flying, 3 passengers were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Local news organization WSB-TV reported that 2 passengers – one without ID – attempted to enter the TSA security screening area. A verbal confrontation between TSA employees and the party ensued. A bystander apparently confronted the party about their behavior which appears to have led to the fighting.
“According to witnesses, the three suspects were disruptive and speaking disrespectfully to the TSA employee when a bystander said something to the suspects about their behavior. In response, police said at least two of the suspects attacked the bystander.“
A second angle of the incident was shared by another IG user here:
Unfortunately, travel violence has become an all to common occurrence lately with in-flight or airport incidents seemingly on the rise. Is this just part of the reality of traveling today? Or a temporary phase? Hard to say for sure.
