Congressman Lou Correa (D-CA) is berated by Trump supporters at DC-area airport as he waits to return home, but he didn’t take it lying down.
Yet another video has surfaced of Trump supporters behaving badly – this time they berate and intimidate a United States Congressman as he waits at a Washington DC area airport to board a return flight home last Thursday.
Congressman Lou Correa is a Democrat from California who represents the 46th District which covers a portion of Orange County. Correa was in DC for the electoral vote certification process and was in the building when it was laid siege by rioters who stormed the Capitol. As he prepared to fly home, fellow travelers, all of which in the video professed support for Trump, began to verbally berate Correa and physically intimidate him.
The video is hard to watch and is reminiscent of the recent video of other travelers berating Senator Lyndsey Graham (R-SC). Here’s the Correa incident which was shared on a variety of social media platforms, including Reddit:
Correa doesn’t take it lying down and appears to stand up to the hecklers at one point before attempting to simply walk away. What is also striking is how long it took for airport security or police to arrive as the hecklers continued to surround and berate Correa for several minutes.
Truly shocking behavior.

We cover travel and remote work subjects here, but yes, that behavior is disgusting as well.
I’m not saying any of this is right but you do cover restaurants on your blog. Personally, I’d rather just see travel stuff but I’ve had AA gate agents treat me as bad as the guys in that video, seriously.
That’s fair, but it’s usually restaurants in the context of a trip. Covering Sen Cruz eating a meal with his wife being yelled at over a Supreme Court pick is a bit of a stretch for us. Regardless of what we actually cover or don’t, we are horrified by pretty much all of this. And yes, what was done to Sen Cruz and his wife was unacceptable. Sadly, it seems that this behavior has become somewhat normalized by radical elements on both sides of the political spectrum and that is tragic.

the era of civility is over when the Thug took office. it is an era where say and do anything you please with no consequences because the Thug leader said so. it is not about party politics, it is about the Character of an Uncivilized man who feels and does anything he pleases. the other half of the equation is the yes men surrounding him that gave the support to strengthen his Thugness.
He deserved it for his corrupt certification vote.
You all need to go back to your state and cry to your local congressmen. The man did not back down and by him self not a mob like you all.
