A female passenger was arrested at the Las Vegas Airport earlier this week after scuffling with officers who’d arrived at the gate area responding to reports of an unruly woman being belligerent with Southwest Airlines employees. The woman, who was denied boarding for unspecified reasons, got physical with the officers and required restraints and a spit mask.
Karleen Gearing, who apparently resides in Phoenix and was returning home from Las Vegas, was attempting to board a Southwest Airlines flight home earlier this week when she was denied boarding for an unspecified reason. Gearing, who was allegedly intoxicated, became belligerent with gate area officials who contacted airport police.
When the authorities arrived, she became violent and began spitting on the officers requiring them to use a spit mask on her. After slipping her restraints a few times she was ultimately required to be “hobbled” in the back of the police cruiser.
She was released on her own recognizance in the Las Vegas area and told to stay away from Southwest Airlines. Garleen appears to be a woman who’s experienced some trouble in the past, and possibly works as a stripper and escort according to unconfirmed social media posts. The same woman appears to also be known for some truly obscene reports of racism such that a restraining order was needed by one man.
Her court date has been slated for the end of October.
