Most everyone loves a good prank. When executed correctly it can result in fall-down-on-floor laughs – especially if your target is a good sport. We’ve found a pretty funny prank that involves a woman who flew her best friend in for a visit and then pranked her with a funny airport sign when she landed. To execute the prank she even enlisted the help of her husband.

Here’s the result:

I flew my bestie in for her birthday and talked my husband into holding up this sign. from funny

Although we don’t have any details on how the target of the prank reacted, the internet once again did its thing and we have lots of hilarity in the comments.

One commenter, Mizzick, says, “Thank God for silly Reddit! Makes up for angry, gory, angsty Reddit.” We feel you, dude. We feel you.

Another suggests we all take a closer look at what caps off the lowercase i’s for potential hidden meanings. We will let our readers make their conclusions here.

Other commenters shared their own airport prank experiences including tmntfever who said:

“We had an airport prank in college. One of my friends had a black Expedition, so whenever we had a friend fly into the airport, we would call him up and get 4-6 of our biggest friends to wear black suits, dark sunglasses and bluetooth headsets. Nothing turns heads more than a small Filipino person surrounded by 6 large personal bodyguards. One time we jogged through baggage claim while covering “the asset”. We’re lucky airport security didn’t do anything.”

While another poster (Disorderly_Chaos) attempted to pull off the spy movie cliche “briefcase exchange” with limited results:

“I attempted to do a prank where two guys in black sunglasses and business suits trade suitcases in a public place. My friend and I never got through one take because we always busted out laughing after saying something like “do you have the package?” or “Mr. Sparrow?” The best one was when we attempted it on an elevator. An old man got on and both of us started cackling like mad men without saying a word. Best time ever.”

How about you reader? Have you ever tried to pull off an airport prank? Maybe stash an unusual “toy” in your partner’s suitcase – one that is certain to get flagged by TSA? Or arrived with a funny sign to pick up a buddy? Drop us a comment below. We want to hear all about it!
