Hotel guests were shocked after two dozen gunshots rang out along with the bloodcurdling screams from a man and a woman. The incident left pools of blood and two dead bodies at the airport hotel.
A man and a woman were left dead after a gunbattle unfolded at a Portland area hotel. The Embassy Suites hotel near the Portland International Airport became the scene of a horrific incident when two dozen shots rang out.
According to ABC News, in the 2 O’Clock hour of Wednesday morning, shots rang out along with the screams of both a man and a woman. While the identities of the victims have not been released local authorities confirmed there is no active threat.
David Gailen, a guest of the hotel, told local news affiliate KATU, “I went to sleep, everything was great and then all of a sudden, there were gunshots. I heard the screams of men and women — bloodcurdling screams. I heard the police yelling for everybody to get back into their room.”

This is not the first shooting seen at this airport Embassy Suites. Several months ago an 18-year-old man was shot and killed as three suspects fled the scene.
Investigation into Wednesday’s incident continues with no suspects or motive publicly identified at this time.
