An American Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing after a flight attendant was forced to hit an unruly passenger with a coffee pot.
Various reports have started to emerge about an inflight incident that occurred Sunday, February 13 on an American Airlines flight. According to tweets by a passenger, multiple passengers and crew were forced to subdue a male passenger acting erratically on American Airlines 1775. The DC-bound flight originated in Los Angeles.
At one point during the fracas, a flight attendant used a coffee pot on the man, causing blood to flow. The flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Kansas City’s MCI Airport and before continuing on to it’s final destination.
