“I will know your name, date of birth, and social security number before I get off this plane!” shouts man to flight attendant before getting kicked off plane with none of those things. Today’s travel freakout shows an irate man who apparently wouldn’t end his phone call and couldn’t seem to wear his mask correctly.
It’s been a quiet few days in the travel world with no new travel freakouts (thank god!), but we once again have another entry to the “stupid traveler” hall of fame. Here we find a California-bound flight and a video that picks up on the tail of end a dispute. The man featured in the TikTok video (which was then cross-posted to Reddit) is irate, although it’s not immediately clear why he is incensed.
It’s only after we see the video’s captions do we realize we’ve got ourselves another mask incident with a healthy dose of “not listening to the flight attendant” sprinkled in. Apparently, the man would not end his phone call as instructed by the flight attendant and as we soon see, can’t seem to get his mask right. At one point, he pushes a fellow passenger out of the way as he rushes to get in the face of the crew.
As he blusters he tells the crew that before he gets off the plane he will have their name, date of birth, and social security number. He also lets us all know that he didn’t even want to go to California. Spoiler alert: he gets none of those things and is rewarded with…wait for it…not going to California.
