A 44-year-old man was recently arrested after an incident boarding a Tampa-bound Allegiant Air flight out of Nashville. The mask-related incident led to a fight where the passenger was ultimately tased and arrested.
Lucas Cutler, 44, of Alabama, was traveling to Tampa, Florida out of the Nashville International Airport last Friday when he got into an altercation that ultimately led to his arrest, but not before being tased by local law enforcement officials.
Cutler was attempting to board the Tampa-bound Allegiant Air flight when he was observed with bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Cutler began allegedly threatening passengers and an airline employee over a mask, at one point threatening to “beat her f*****g a**!” Officers were called to the gate and attempted to peacefully remove Cutler from the flight, however, he became further agitated.
According to one report, Cutler told officers that airline officials would not let him board because they were “F*****g racist.”
At one point, Cutler became smarmy with the officers after they asked him where he was from. His answer? “Your mom’s house.” One report even notes that Cutler called one of the officers attempting to intervene a “trifling b***h.”
Officers then attempted to take the intoxicated Cutler into custody, however, he resisted, requiring the officer to deploy his stun gun and tase Cutler.
Cutler was charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
