A Thai man was captured on video as he breached airport security and rushed the airfield headed first for a parked plane before entering the airport terminal. The man was wielding an ax and an airsoft and was reportedly hopped up on meth tablets. He is shown wildly swinging at airport staff before ultimately being tackled to the ground.
Watchara Kkambat, a 34-year-old Thai man rode his motorcycle through a barrier and into a restricted area of the Bangkok airport earlier this week according to this report. During his spree, he was seen on video wildly swinging his ax before breaking the glass on a terminal door. He was eventually taken into custody and is reportedly facing a life sentence or even the death penalty under strict Thai law.
Thai laws are notoriously strict law, including very strict laws regarding drugs. Narcotic drugs such as Heroin could result in a life imprisonment in some cases.
