Warning: Sensitive content. Another unruly passenger incident recorded; this time at Miami International Airport as an angry racist flung slurs, pylons, and punches at airport staff.
In a vulgar display of anger, racism, and violence a terrifying scene unfolded in the Miami International Airport Friday night. The incident, caught on camera and shared to numerous social media channels, including the @OnlyInDade Twitter account, captures a white male in the midst of a total meltdown.
The incident occurred at Gate D23, an American Airlines gate, and shows a visibly angry male shouting, cursing, using racist slurs at first. As he grows angrier the man storms toward employees menacing them, faking violence, before storming off. He then returns, picks up a pylon, and flings it before attempting to punch an employee.
The video ends before the airport police arrive.

According to various sources, including reporting by fellow BoardingArea.com blogger, View from the Wing, the incident occurred on Friday night over an alleged masking incident.

As has been noted numerous times by this blog, unruly passengers incidents continue to occur and, according to the FAA, are on the rise. Sadly, there appears to be no end in sight for the unruly, violent, stupid, criminal behavior that is now far too common when flying these days.

Bad behavior, yes. Evidence to support that this is motivated by racism or that the guy is racist? Absent. You’re just piling on.
If your sole basis is that he used the n word, ending with “aâ€, then you would have to allege that the “f*ck you memo!†lady from MIA (latinx) and the Hispanic guy from the Pop Copy sketch on Chappelle’s show are also racist. Of course they aren’t. Bottom line, latinx people get to use this word ending with an “a†as it was long ago adopted into their urban culture. There happens to be no small number of “white†hispanics. This incident happened in Miami. Therefore the burden is on you to show that this guy is not Hispanic/latinx before you treat him like a plain-jane non-Hispanic white person and summarily deem him a racist.

just a douche throwing a tantrum. *maybe a veteran, but it you’re assuming based on haircut, that’s not a good assumption. even if indeed PTSD, still not a valid reason and he should be ashamed as a veteran at his behavior. it being Florida, I would have to assume just being. douche and not wanting to wear a mask when asked to and was denied boarding.
End the mask mandates and 99% of this will stop.
That’s a pretty ignorant recommendation. I would bet that most of the anti-maskers are also unvaccinated since that also interferes with their “freedom”. I don’t want to spend hours in a metal tube with questionable air filtration next to these d-bag spreaders.
If everyone would wear their masks and get vaccinated, we could end the pandemic and ditch the masks.
I wish it were true Daviator, but the government has shown that getting our shots as we were told doesn’t allow us any more freedom. Mask mandate in Baltimore for the past month – even for those vaccinated. If everyone suddenly got vaccinated tomorrow they’d just think of something else for us to do. You know it. Everyone knows it. I don’t blame anyone for refusing the vaccine. It doesn’t do anything to stop the assaults on our freedom. This is never going to end until sheep like you stand up.
Get vaxed and wear a mask – and all this will stop. BTW, “freedom” is not an absolute right: your freedom stops when it infringes the freedom of others, principally when the others are more educated than you.

Typical inbred, knuckle-dragging, redneck Trump voter, acting the way they all WANT to act and sometimes do. Hopefully these unmasked, unvaccinated morons will all get COVID-19, die, and make the world a better place, ideally BEFORE polluting the gene pool with any offspring.
This is what happens when you get to any airport you are from the time your dropped off ,barked at or police whistled at, inside your told to use an idiotic kiosk while employees play on their phones, you’re charged an exorbitant fee if your luggage is overweight or you dare to bring more than 1 bag. Your Id is scrutinized. Then your off to the TSA line for more abuse. I’ve seen them yell and scream at passengers like a carnival barker. Then when you get your luggage back possibly gone through because they don’t know what a simple crescent wrench is. You finally get to your gate, there is no place to sit. Or plane is late. I can go on. But 1 thing that is causing more rage than anything is the F@&â€ing MASK MANDATES!!!! Stop the GD mask mandates and the GD mask police. And the general abuse and over controlling of passengers you may get a different result. There are more lazy rude and downright asshole airport employees than any Walmart could shake a stick at. And stop trying to throw racism into every incident.
