This flight attendant is having none of your anti-mask baloney on her flight

by Jeremy B

A flight attendant was recently captured laying the law from on high to her passengers. The TikTok video, which has since gone viral, is taken by a passenger who only records the audio from the safety presentation before the flight takes off. And, it’s golden.

Tyler Janee posted the video to her TikTok account earlier this month and it captures her face as the flight attendant lectures the passengers of the short 46-minute flight.

The FA, who is clearly over the nonsense she and her fellow FAs have to deal with on a regular basis, starts laying the law down for mask violations.

She notes that she’s already seeing some noses – meaning the passengers are wearing them incorrectly.

FA also mentions that she will be annoying and wake people up if they are not wearing their masks correctly, but the coup de grace is that she says they have tests on board and swab passengers if need be. Clearly, that’s an empty threat, but hints at the frustration the airline crew (and industry as a whole) must be facing right now.

Here’s the video in all it’s glory:

No word on the airline, but it appears like it might be a Southwest Airlines flight. While the FA was, in my view, mildly rude and probably out of line with her comments, it’s hard to blame her when you hear about the seemingly endless in-flight incidents that have occurred this year alone – most of which are mask-related.

It’s a crazy time to be a flight attendant, that’s for sure, and like we’ve said over and over again here at the CBoardingGroup, just wear your mask correctly on the flight. Even if you don’t want to, just do it. <sigh>.

Thats not a 737, so not southwest. overhead panels/bins are clearly A320 family. Probably spirit or frontier.

U.S. flight attendants are rated worst in world for service. They are complicit in this mask nonsense where we have flights diverted because someone didn’t wear a mask between sips of water. They deserve our contempt and disdain.

People if you are going to fly… follow the rules. If not there are other forms of transportation. Take one. Don’t bother the rest of us with your bs.

I get it. I really do. I Agree completely. That being said, sometimes you get further with a smile and some humor than coming off so Aggressive right out the gate. Maybe she needs some time off (paid) so she can regroup and be better at customer service.
I worked in retail and customer service for 25 years. I have experience in how best to approach the public. Just wear your MASK. Would you let a surgeon operate on you without a mask? No! Then you don’t get in a closed up metal tube with only recycled air and breathe in virus infected air. If people who work serving the public can wear a mask (correctly) 8 to 10 hours a day!! Then we the public can wear it for an hour or 2 while shopping or traveling. Common Sense.
